AASCB EXECUTIVE BOARD
 Gerard Lawson, President Gerard Lawson is a Professor in the Counselor Education program at Virginia Tech. He served for eight years on the ACA Governing Council and was ACA President in 2017-18. He currently serves as the 2024-26 AASCB President. |
Hannah Coyt, President-Elect Dr. Coyt serves as an assistant professor at Lindsey Wilson College, where she has served students in a teaching role since 2001. In addition, Dr. Coyt has been a licensed professional clinical counselor since 2000, as well as a clinical supervisor since 2004. |
Kim Speakman, Past President Kim Speakman is the President of the State of Tennessee Board for Professional Counselors, Marital and Family Therapists, and Clinical Pastoral Therapists and serves as the 2024-25 AASCB Past President. |

His role involves managing administrative regulations, public hearings, and ensuring compliance with professional standards. | Melonie Davis, Secretary Melonie Davis currently serves as the Executive Director for the North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors Board.
